Community Aboriginal Recreational Activator
Our CARA program aims to improve quality of life through sport and recreation by increasing capacity to meet physical activity and recreation needs of the community; enhancing knowledge exchanging among communities; sharing best practices for community engagement in physical activity and recreation; and connecting with local resources and community services to build partnerships.
Some annual programs that CARA organizes include the Maple Fest; minor softball league; adult mixed slo-pitch league; youth baseball clinics; swimming program; volleyball; gym night; open ice program; youth indoor baseball training; and more.
